Location: Tishomingo is a rural community in Southern Oklahoma, halfway between Dallas and OKC. It is within 45 minutes drive of larger communities such as Durant, Ardmore, Ada, and Lake Texoma.

Population: approximately 3,100

Education Opportunities: Tishomingo offers a public school system for pk-12 grades. The school system is currently in a building process making large upgrades to the infrastructure of the school. Tishomingo is home to Murray State College. MSC offers nationally recognized degree programs in gunsmithing, veterinary programs, nursing, PTA programs, are just a few of the degree programs offered.

Employment Opportunities: employment in our area include ranchers, farmers, teachers, health care workers, city and state employees. the Chickasaw Nation is one of the largest employers in our area offering jobs in various capacities. The nearby town of Mill Creek employs many in their sand plants. Within a short commute employment opportunities greatly expand.

Dining/Shopping/Entertainment: Main Street is bustling with shopping, boutiques, a spa, nail salon, and many dining choices. people from all over come to listen to live music and eat at Blake Shelton's "Ole Red."

Recreation: you will find a 9 hole Perry Maxwell design golf course, the Chickasaw Nation wellness center including an indoor pool, tennis court, Blue River Recreation Area, Tishomingo Wildlife Refuge, and Pennington Creek Park. A short drive will find large casinos including top tier entertainment.
